What does it cost?

Our Centre hours are 7.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Most children have arrived at Preschool by 9.00 am and this is encouraged. So that no child misses out, our core curriculum operates between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm. Outside these hours, each child has personal development activities, inside group time and outdoor play.

We are closed on Public Holidays and for four weeks at Christmas. You are not charged for these days.

Our Daily Rates vary slightly depending on the age group and the 'staff to child' ratio that is required.

      JOEY'S ROOM                    Age 0-1's   (min staff ratio 1:5 children)           $65 per day

      KOOKABURRA'S ROOM  Age 3-4's   (min staff ratio 1:10 children)         $57 per day 
      DOLPHIN'S ROOM            Age 4-5's   (min staff ratio 1:10 children)         $57 per day

These costs do not include the Federal Government subsidy. This is administered by the Family Assistance Office and depends on your family's income. The lower the income the greater the subsidy. For ease of administration for you, this subsidy, once agreed between you and the Family Assistance Office, is paid directly to us.

You pay the remaining portion on a fortnightly basis or for a school term. These form your Out-of-Pocket expenses, and the Government pays you a further subsidy of 50% of these costs, as well as other approved out-of-pocket expenses associated with childcare.  This rebate is paid automatically on a quarterly basis.  So for a family wanting to send one child to Preschool, it would cost approximately
